Outdoor Lighting⁵

Outdoor lighting is the first thing guests see and the last thing you notice when you come home. A well-placed wall light makes an entrance feel welcoming, helps you find the keyhole, and washes the facade with warm light instead of the harsh glare of a floodlight.

Wall lanterns for porches and doorways, up-and-down lights that graze a facade, and path lights each do a different job, so choose by where the light needs to land. For a front door, a light on each side, mounted slightly above eye level, usually looks balanced; a single larger fixture can work beside a narrow entrance. Check each listing for its weather rating and whether it suits a covered or exposed location.

Hardwired outdoor fixtures should be installed by a licensed electrician. Every order ships free, and every light can be returned within 30 days.
