About This Light
Dimma is Swedish for haze, and the name fits: a slim cylinder only 5 cm (2 in) across, with a dark smoky lower body and a paler smoked-grey upper section that glows warm when it is lit. From its base it sends a focused cone of light straight down, so the nightstand, the counter or the open book beneath it is lit and the rest of the room stays calm.
It is drawn for narrow places where a lamp would crowd the surface: beside a bed, at the end of a kitchen counter, over a bar or a console in the hall. Hang one on its own, or a pair at slightly different heights on either side of a bed. Choose the Standard version on a 180 cm (71 in) cord, or the Height-Adjustable version on a 200 cm (79 in) cord, which you pull down or push up to change the drop.
