About This Light
Fude takes its line from a calligraphy brush: a thin black rod that thickens into a short cylinder, held off the wall by a small arm and a round plate. Tilt the head and it lays a soft, warm pool of light down the wall and onto the nightstand or the page in your hands, while the rest of the room stays dim.
It is slight in person, a little over nine inches from top to bottom, so it sits easily beside a headboard, over a reading chair or at the end of a sofa without crowding the wall. The flat matte black reads clean against plaster, limewash or pale wood.

A thin rod thickens into a short 4 cm (1.6 in) cylinder, held off the wall by a small arm and a round 10 cm (3.9 in) plate. The iron and aluminum body is finished in flat matte black paint, so it reads as one clean line on the wall.
