About This Light
Hanzuki means half moon. It is a dome cut through and set at an angle on the ceiling, so its round, glowing face turns out into the room like a moon low in the sky. Unlit it reads as a simple sculptural shell; lit, the acrylic diffuser gives an even, softened light with a thin bright rim at its edge.
It goes where a plain ceiling light usually goes and looks far more considered there: an entry, a hallway, a closet, a bedroom or a small kitchen. Matte Black reads as a deep charcoal against pale plaster, while White almost disappears into the ceiling. Use the 7.9 in in a corridor or closet and the 11.8 in in a bedroom or larger entry, or run several down a long hall.
