About This Light
Hitomi is a shallow dish of travertine, 25 cm across, with a smooth ball of solid wood set at its center. Switched on, the LED hidden behind the ball throws a warm ring of light across the stone and out onto the wall, so the pitted surface of the travertine shows in soft relief, like a small eclipse on plaster.
It stands only 12 cm off the wall, which makes it easy to place in a hallway, beside a bed or above a sofa, and it reads well alone or in a loose group of two or three. Choose a deep walnut-brown ball or a lighter oak-tone ball; the stone dish is the same on both.
