-
Low, intimate glow
The tinted globe softens a single frosted bulb into low, warm light for a bedside, a mirror or a stair wall.
-
Two tints, two moods
Amber gives a warm, honeyed glow; Smoke Grey is darker and more graphic, with the bright core showing through.
-
Glass that catches light
A few soft dimples pressed into the glass pick up the glow of the bulb at its centre.
About This Light
Hozuki is the Japanese name for the lantern plant, whose orange seed pods hang from a thin stem like small paper lanterns. This sconce takes the same shape: a round tinted-glass globe on a slender brass-tone stem, with a frosted bulb glowing at its centre and a few soft dimples pressed into the glass that catch the light.
Amber gives a warm, honeyed glow; Smoke Grey is darker and more graphic, with the bright core showing through. Hung in pairs either side of a bed, beside a mirror or along a stair wall, it gives low, intimate light rather than a bright wash.
- Globe: tinted glass, 15 cm (5.9 in) across, in Amber or Smoke Grey
- Height: 60 cm (23.6 in) overall
- Fittings: brass-tone metal wall plate, stem and cap
- Bulb: takes one G9 bulb, seen as a frosted glow inside the globe
- Voltage: 90–260 V AC, hardwired
Installation and care: Have a qualified electrician connect it to a wall junction box. Dust the glass with a soft, dry cloth, and wipe it with a damp one only when the light is off and cool.

In the Room
01
A small lantern on the stair wall
Hozuki gives low, intimate light rather than a bright wash. Along a stair wall it glows like the lantern plant it is named for, and in a pair either side of a bed or beside a mirror it sets a quiet evening mood.
02
Dimpled glass around a frosted core
A few soft dimples are pressed into the tinted glass, and they catch the light from the frosted bulb glowing at its centre. The globe hangs from a brass-tone cone cap on a slender stem that drops from a round wall plate.
03
One G9 bulb, simple care
It takes one G9 bulb, which shows as a soft frosted glow inside the globe. A qualified electrician connects it to a wall junction box; after that, dust the glass with a soft, dry cloth, and wipe it with a damp one only when the light is off and cool.

What bulb does it take, and how is it installed?
It takes one G9 bulb, seen as a frosted glow inside the globe. It runs on 90–260 V AC and is hardwired, so have a qualified electrician connect it to a wall junction box.
