About This Light
Kaku is a plain square block that lets light out of its top and bottom edges only, drawing two crisp fans of light up and down the wall. The faces carry a printed wood grain over an aluminum body, so it reads warm and natural beside oak floors and plaster walls without the upkeep of real timber.
Use one beside a bed, a run of them up a staircase, or a pair to frame an entrance or a hallway door. Choose the deeper 3.9 in cube or the slimmer 4.7 in block, a pale blond or deep walnut-tone grain, and warm or cool white light.

What is the difference between the two sizes?
The 10 cm Cube is 10 x 10 cm (3.9 x 3.9 in) and about 10 cm (3.9 in) deep. The 12 cm Block is 12 x 12 cm (4.7 x 4.7 in) and slimmer, about 5 cm (2.0 in) deep, so it sits closer to the wall.
Is it real wood, and can it go outside?
It is an aluminum body with a printed wood-grain finish, not solid wood, and it is for indoor use only: bedsides, stairs, hallways and entrances. It is hardwired to a wall junction box and runs on 90-260V AC, which suits standard US 120V wiring.
