About This Light
Kasuri is a Japanese cloth woven with tiny flecks of pattern, and this sconce does something similar to a wall. Inside a tall glass capsule, a perforated metal sleeve wraps the bulb, so the light leaves it as a scatter of fine dots across the wall around the fixture. A squared L-shaped arm holds the capsule well out from the wall, which gives the pattern room to spread.
Clear glass shows the gold-tone sleeve and keeps the pattern crisp; Smoke Grey glass makes it moodier. Use a pair beside a bed or either side of a bathroom mirror, or one alone on a hallway or entry wall.
