About This Light
Komorebi is an open dome of hand-woven bamboo strips set in rows of V-shaped zigzags, held close to the ceiling on a round wood-tone canopy. Turn it on and the gaps in the weave send rays of light and shadow out across the ceiling and down the walls, like sun coming through leaves.
It hangs only about 9.8 inches down, so it suits rooms where a pendant would be in the way: a hallway, an entry, a bedroom or a dining nook with a low ceiling. The bulb shows through the weave, so a warm decorative or filament-style bulb looks best.
