About This Light
Mangetsu is a full moon for the wall: a round disc of pale, softly veined composite marble, hung from a slender curved arm. The light sits behind the small round plate at its centre and spreads out through the disc, so it glows from the middle to the edge and leaves a faint halo on the wall behind. The veining shows most clearly when it is lit.
The smaller sizes suit a bedside or a narrow hallway; the 30 and 35 cm discs become the focal point of a stair landing, a console wall or the space above a sofa. Choose a black arm for a graphic, modern line, or gold for a warmer, softer look.
