Mayu is a wide, flattened oval of ribbed paper stretched over fine spokes. Lit, the whole shade glows a warm cream and the ribs show as fine lines, giving a soft, diffused light with no hard edges. Hang it low over a dining table or kitchen island, or beside a reading chair; the 40 cm sits comfortably close to a table, the 60 cm fills a larger room.
