About This Light
Minamo is less about the fixture than the light it leaves on the wall. A slim mirror-finish plate carries one or two flat discs; behind them, a shaped mirror bends the warm LED light into a rippled pattern, like sunlight moving on the surface of water. Switched off, it is a quiet strip of metal. Switched on, it turns a bare hallway, stair landing or bedroom wall into the focal point of the room.

In a hallway, on a stair landing or beside the bed, Minamo turns a bare wall into the focal point: the ripple pattern spreads well beyond the fixture itself. The Single Disc is roughly 30 cm (12 in) tall and the Double Disc roughly 50 cm (20 in), estimated from photos.

Mirror steel and a flat disc
The plate is stainless steel with a mirror face, and the discs are flat metal: black on a chrome plate, or gold on a gold-tone plate. Behind each disc a concave-convex mirror bends the LED light into the ripple.

Minamo is hardwired and controlled from your wall switch, so there is no cord on the wall; we recommend a licensed electrician. The 5W LED is built in, and a soft, dry microfibre cloth keeps the mirror face clear.
