About This Light
Rosoku is Japanese for candle, and it hangs like one: a slender column of natural stone, 4 cm (1.6 in) across, that glows from within when lit. The stone is pale and translucent, with dark ink-like veining that shows fully once the light is on, and a softer pool of light falls from its base onto whatever sits below.
Because it is so slim it suits places where space is tight and a lamp would get in the way: beside a bed, above a reading chair, at the end of a counter or in a stairwell. One makes a quiet accent; two at staggered heights frame a bed. Each body is real stone, so the veining differs from one pendant to the next.
