About This Light

Sopp is a small piece of mid-century design: a rounded cream mushroom shade on a bright chrome arm that swings out from a round wall plate. The shade points its light down, so it makes a clear, warm pool on a desk, a nightstand or the pages of a book, while the cream metal glows gently at the rim. A small wooden bead finishes the pull chain.

Glossy cream, bright chrome

The 20 cm (7.9 in) shade is iron, painted cream, with a slim neck rising from its crown. It rides on a chrome-finish folding arm from a 12 cm (4.7 in) round chrome plate, and a small wooden bead finishes the pull chain.

Pull the chain, or use the wall switch

On the Pull Chain version, a tug on the wood bead turns it on and off at the lamp. Choose No Pull Chain and it runs from your wall switch instead. Either way it is wired into a wall box, so we recommend a licensed electrician, and a soft, dry cloth keeps it clean.
