About This Light
Stav is the Nordic word for a staff, and the light is just that: a narrow, plain block of aluminium set against the wall. It throws two clean beams, one up and one down, so a front door, a garage or a stretch of rendered wall gets a crisp vertical frame of light after dark.
The body is only 7 cm (2.8 in) wide and 3.8 cm (1.5 in) deep, so it sits close to the wall and lets the light do the work. The 20.5 cm (8.1 in) size suits a door or a gate post; the 41 cm (16.1 in) size has a stronger, longer wash for taller walls and entries. It looks just as clean on an interior wall.
