About This Light
Tsubomi means bud in Japanese, and the fluted globe has that closed, rounded shape. It hangs from a curved brass-finish arm off a small round wall plate, and the ribs in the glass break the light into soft vertical lines, so the globe shimmers when it is lit and washes the wall around it with warm light.
The glass tint sets the mood. Smoke Grey is quiet and low, Clear shows the bulb within, Champagne is a pale amber that warms the light further, and Blue gives a cool, deep tone. Hang one beside a mirror or a doorway, or a pair either side of a bed.
