About This Light
Verk is the classic workshop wall lamp, pared back: a metal cone shade on a jointed arm that folds and swings, so the light lands where you need it. Bring it out over a desk, a reading chair or the bed, then fold it back toward the wall when you are done. The cone keeps the light focused and the bare bulb glows warm just beneath the rim.

Above a writing desk, Verk throws a focused pool of light onto the work surface while the bulb glows warm under the rim. Choose the 30 cm Arm, with two 15 cm (5.9 in) sections, or the 40 cm Arm, with two 20 cm (7.9 in) sections, for more reach.

Knuckle joints and an aged finish
Small knuckle joints let each arm section pivot, and the cone, socket housing and 13.5 cm (5.3 in) back plate share one finish: aged Antique Brass, Black with a brass-tone socket, or bright Brass. The body is plated or painted iron, not solid brass.

Swing it out, fold it back
Pull the arm out over the bed or a reading chair, then fold it back toward the wall when you're done; how far it reaches depends on how you set the joints. Fit a standard E26 bulb (not included); a warm Edison-style filament bulb suits the open cone. Dust with a soft, dry cloth.
